Biscuit

My first deaf French Bulldog, age 3 years, is a therapy dog for Littleton Hospital. We visit the children’s unit after hours emergency clinic. One night we were there Biscuit kept pulling me (he never does that) he was very insistent. He pulled me right up to a door that was partially closed. I could tell the doctor was examining a patient. We are not allowed to enter when the doctor is there but Biscuit pushed his way through. A little boy was in there struggling to get his breath. The doc could not settle the boy down and was becoming frantic. She couldn’t get him oxygen. Biscuit made his way into the room and up on the table with the boy and started licking his hand. The boy immediately calmed down and the doctor was able to get the mask on. The little boy was then able to breathe! The doctor then looked at us both (I thought we were going to get kicked out) and asked where we were 5 minutes ago!!
