Scully (AKA, łAgent Scully˛)
Scully entered the shelter I used to work for as a stray. In the
shelter environment she had difficulties with stress and arousal issues and
was constantly panting and jumping vertically in her kennel. She just
couldnšt handle the stress of shelter life. However Scully is
incredibly social with people and has mazing
dog-dog skills; she also happens to have a wicked submissive grin that
canšt help but make anyone who sees it smile. I fostered her with the
intent of helping with her impulse control and stress relief and she wound
up staying as well. She had separation anxiety for the first several
months she came home and has successfully worked through that with the help
of a strong behavior modification program. Now her new job is to help
me socialize puppies and work with adult dogs that have fear issues with
new dogs. Wešre hoping she also finds a passion for agility one of these
days, though she seems to prefer sleeping. Wešll see.
